Everyone has struggles, but you don’t need to feel alone. Loss, fears, trauma, insecurities, unwanted behavioral or emotional patterns, relationship problems, occupational or academic issues, and troubling feelings (sadness, fears, loneliness, anger) or issues of self-esteem and confidence can sometimes be a part of life. Left untreated, these can blossom into more severe chronic conditions, such as depression, anxiety, or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Minerly can help you to better cope with these issues while working toward problem-solving strategies and solutions. She has received extensive training in a number of treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic psychotherapy, trauma-informed psychodrama, and exposure therapies (i.e. systematic desensitization). Using an eclectic integrative approach, Dr. Minerly develops treatment based on the unique needs of each individual, and can serve children, adolescents, and adults of all ages and genders. She has experience with special populations, including individuals with developmental and/or intellectual/cognitive disabilities (i.e. autism, ADHD), those with cognitive decline and/or dementia, those struggling with addictions, survivors of sexual or inter-partner violence or childhood abuse, members of the LGBTQIA community, caregivers, active military personnel, veterans, chronically or terminally ill individuals, and others.
