Ana Christina Minerly, Ph.D. has been in private practice in midtown Manhattan for over 15 years. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides therapy services and also engages in a forensic capacity with the legal profession on matters requiring expert opinion. She is an active member of the American Psychological Association and the New York State Psychological Association. Dr. Minerly participates in research and has authored and co-authored several scientific works. In addition, she conducts psychological and psychosocial evaluations for academic, city and state service connection, and legal guardianship purposes for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Dr. Minerly has worked successfully over the years with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Dr. Minerly received her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from NYU Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. After receiving her Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center, she pursued a Clinical and School Psychology Ph.D. respecialization certificate from Hofstra University. Dr. Minerly teaches psychology at Hunter College of the City University of New York. She has held the position of scientific editor at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Florida, and has worked as a clinical and neurocognitive psychologist at the New York State Institute on Disability, ACCESS Community Health Center, and AHRC New York City.
